This is the month of Ramadhan. I received a call from Sadiah last nite just after my Terawih prayers at Omar Salmah Mosque informing me that Shalahudin Johari past away in the Phillipines during the day. He drowned while swimming when he got cramps.
He is a nice chap; very strongly opinionated. He left behind his wife who is a Muslim convert.
I've known both of them when he was working for us at Picture Mills.
Im quite affected by this cos basically he is a nice guy, very hardworking and honest. He is loved by a lot of people.
He is a heavy smoker too and i guess this is his way of saying that you still can go without lung cancer.
May Allah place him among those that he loves and spare him the questions in the grave. Ameen x 3
