I shall live forever

i guess every dad has their own version to tell and each is unique.

our first pregnancy was very interesting. i had all the morning sickness, grouchiness and you name it whateer else there is to it. come to think of it, there many a time during the first pregnancy that when i slept on the bed, i felt as though im sleeping in a canoe which rocked from left to right and eventually made me sea sick!

i can still remember the very special day.

i wanted to eat chilli crab at Hawa restaurant in geylang and asked my wife to accompany me but she declined saying that she is not feeling to good.

so i went off to the restaurant and ordered my faovurite chilli crab.

i waited and waited for quite some time and then my hp rang and my wife called to say that her water bag burst!

i cancelled the order and went home to pick her up. we went to the General Hospital.

the labour, which went for about 18 hrs more or less was quite interesting for first time dad. she did very well...

during delivery, they ushered me out to perform the 'suction' manouvre..

when i got in, Riffatt was already out with 3 cone marks on his head and his head looking like those coneheads on tv.

i took him aside, and i azan to both his left and right ears. and that when i felt 'IMMORTAL'...very strange but true..i shall live forever in my children and i pray and i hope that they will grow up to be better men and father than their predecessors.

Good luck to all my children. i love each and everyone of you. all of you are special in their own way. every day i pray for you and our family.

remember, dont worry if your shadow is crooked when you know you are standing straight.

when in doubt, stick to Allah, you can never go wrong. that is Allah's promise my dear children.

pray 5 times a day cos it will make you a better person. pray slowly and not like a rocket.

if you pray 5 times a day and still can commit major sins, it simply means that your prayer is not done properly.

love your mother, love your mother, love your mother and love your father.

study hard so you will become smarter and can do better business than your dad.
